We’re pleased to announce that we have chosen to move our Email and other communication and collaboration systems to the Cloud with Google Workspace. We know the old email system had issues and challenges; that is why we went big and chose a new platform built for productivity and collaboration called Google Workspace. Google Workspace will allow our teams to Work Faster, Collaborate better and access our company data and files, anywhere securely, all through the power of Google Cloud. In the coming weeks, you'll receive additional announcements as we begin switching employees' from Microsoft 365 accounts to Google Workspace. But don't worry, you won't lose important data, and your email address won't change!
Google Workspace is a collection of Enterprise Office communication, productivity and collaborative solutions and software offered by Google for Business. The solutions are deployed within an organization's domain with the organization having full control of its data, users and service management through an admin console. Core Google Workspace Products include;
Email; Through Gmail
Calendar and Meetings; Through Google Calendar
Video Conferencing Tools; Through Google Meet
Mass Mailing; Through the use of Google Groups
Office and Collaboration; Through the use of Google Drive
Surveys and Assessments; Through Google Forms
Intranets and Portals; Through Google Sites
All user accounts email will be migrated gradually by our contracted Partner.

If you have used a personal Gmail account, then you have familiarity with Google Workspace. Except, its Gmail for business on our domain botswanapost.co.bw and you will have your work account as it@botswanapost.co.bw.Google Workspace has added familiar applications such as Google Drive, Google Docs, Sheets , Google Meet, Google Chats and much more that are all provide a simple and easy to use communication and collaboration platform. In addition, Google’s superior Security, Infrastructure, technology such as AI would help us work faster and better on the cloud.
One of the reasons why Google Workspace is able to deliver real transformation to businesses and organizations, such as ours, is due to the fact that it’s simple to use and adopt. In the coming days, we shall share more information about the change and access of the new solution.
